Project Overview

This project was created for a renovation client in Germany to visualize a dramatic building facade transformation. Rather than using a standard before-and-after image, our approach was to create a dynamic visual that would fully capture the scope of the renovation.

I developed a unique ‘peel-off’ rendering effect to reveal the new facade beneath the old structure. This method not only serves as a great visual but also tells a better story of transformation and renewal, highlighting the project’s innovative nature.

Our goal was to move beyond the typical polished, static render. By experimenting with new concepts, we delivered an authentic, emotionally resonant visual that effectively communicates the design’s impact and sets the client’s project apart.

Key Contributions

Concept Development: Conceptualized the ‘peel-off’ effect to visualize the renovation in a unique and engaging way.

3D Modeling & Rendering: Modeled the new facade, integrated the architectural details, and executed the final render using Blender – InstaMAT workflow.

Storytelling: Ensured the final image was not just a render but a powerful communication tool that conveyed the essence of the design.
